• Aluminum spacer fills the gap between the uneven frame line and the Engine skid plate

Mounts #1 - Front Spacer
Mounts #2
• Hold the end of Engine skid to start of Transfer Case skid
• They create mounting spots for 5/16 inch bolts
• When laying underneath, head closer to front, feet closer to back, left bracket slides into the left part of frame from left, right from right
• Flat part faces outside for both, in right photo it is flipped only to show the welded nuts
• Small hole is for attaching this bracket to the frame if desired - that will it easier to mount skid plates
Mounts #2
Mounts #2 in place
• When laying underneath, head closer to front, feet closer to back, this bracket would be on the left hand side
• Upper right photo shows the Xterra cross member with 2 existing holes
• The bracket matches those holes
• The braket shown slides into the frame
• It's a great idea to drill a small hole into the frame in the spot of the small hole of the bracket. A self tapping screw would hold the bracket in place.
Mounts #2 in place
Mounts #3
• 2 of these mounts hold the back of the Transfer Case skid
• Long bolts go through the skid plate, through a tall gap, and through a round hole on the frame
• 1.5 inch metal squares have a nut welded in the middle
Mounts #3
Mounts #3 in place
• Similar to Mount #2 type, a welded nut provides a mounting point
• 2 of these mounts are placed ontop of existing large holes through the cross member
• It's a great idea to drill a small hole into the frame in the spot of the small hole of the bracket. A self tapping screw would provide a third point of attchment of the skid plate.
